After last year's cancellations, I imagine fireworks events to be extremely popular and busy this year. If you fancy a ticketed event, I would recommend booking asap.

Friday 5 November - Fireworks & Funfair Night at Newcastle Racecourse
Expect racing, a funfair, face painting, fireworks, food stalls, live music and more. Find out more and book here. Find out more and book here.
Saturday 6 November - Blaydon RFC Bonfire
Expect a bonfire, funfair, fireworks display and indoor live music and this event. Doors open at 5:30pm with the club bonfire at 6:15pm and fireworks at 7:15pm. Food vendors available. Tickets will go on sale soon. Find out more here.
Saturday 6 November - Gosforth Fireworks Extravaganza
Hosted on Broadway West Playing Fields, you can expect attractions, rides, food stalls and over 120 effects per minute. From 5pm-9:30pm. Tickets will be available on the gate or online soon (in 2019 they were available from £2.50). Organised by the Round Table, profits go to good causes in the local area. Find out more here.
